Kahi Malu is a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage in Volcano Village, on a quiet one-lane road. This newly refurbished, comfortable guest cottage has room for a family of five but is also ideally suited for couples or singles.  The  cottage has koa floors throughout, with Egyptian-loomed area rugs,  carpets in the dining area and kitchen, and numerous built-ins. Lovely furnishings in the cottage and lush landscaping outside offer a restful home base from which guests may explore Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park. The kitchen is well equipped.   The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.
.	The built-in living room entertainment unit houses a TV (on cable) and VCR, as well as a mini stereo, plus movie videotapes and music CDs and cassettes.
The living room has a full-sized futon couch, and  koa wood floors with Egyptian-loomed area rugs	There is a fully furnished kitchen, with adjacent dining area.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed, with built-in headboard and side tables. There is a bedside phone.	Across the master bedroom is a built-in desk and shelving unit and, on the far wall, a loveseat sofa with side tables.
The second bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed with built-in head board and side tables.	Lush landscaping outside offer a restful home base.

Kahi Malu is stocked with a generous supply of breakfast foods. Located in Volcano Village, just a five-minute drive from Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park, a forty-minute drive from Hilo International airport, and a two-and-a-half hour drive from Kona's Keahole airport.

All rates subject to 11.41% Hawai`i taxes.
VISA, MasterCard, and Discover cards are accepted and are used to hold the reservation. However, payment by personal check, travelers checks or cash is preferred.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:
for cancellations within two months of the check-in date there will be a charge of 15% of the total cost; within one month, 50% of total cost, unless the house can be rebooked; within twenty-four hours, 100% of total cost.

Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is by 11 AM.
Smoking is allowed only on covered porches.
