Rooms:

2 Bedroom, 2 Bath   Master Bedroom with King size bed and private bath ( shower ), 2nd bedroom with queen size bed.  2nd bathroom has tub/shower.   

Amenities:

 Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and all pots and pans and utensils.  Cable TV, Sound-system with speakers throughout the house,  Wood-burning Fireplace ( Fire Wood provided), "3" porches to overlook the lush forest and watch the native birds.   Washer  & Dryer.

Complimentary:

 For stays of 3 nights or more we will be happy to provide some complimentary breakfast fixings ( our gift to you) .  Breakfast fixings may include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pancake mix, syrup, bread / bagels, eggs, butter / jam, juice, etc.  ( exact items may vary depending on local availability). 
There are always fresh tropical flowers in the house for your enjoyment and lots of firewood for the fireplace.

Credit card # to guarantee reservation, or one night deposit check. Payment is due upon arrival.  We prefer payment by check upon arrival, but you can also pay by Credit Card ( Visa, MC, Amex ),  traveler's check, or cash

Cancellation
Policy:

14 days 
* No Charge / full refund of deposit if cancelled at least two weeks prior to arrival.  If cancelled less than two weeks in advance full payment is due for any days we can not re-book to someone else..       
Reservations for 4 days or more have a 30 day  cancellation period.

Smoking / Pets:

The Kilauea Forest Chalet ( Rainforest Chalet)  is a non-smoking vacation home.  No pets are allowed.

Thanks for allowing us to stay in your great place in Volcano, HI.  We loved the Rainforest atmosphere ( how did they build the house without going further into the woods ?).. Especially loved the high wood frame ceiling and loft master bedroom.  Awesome access to the Park and thought Kiawe Kitchen was top notch.  Sugar cubes for the coffee was over the top!  Mahalo, Joe  Marla McGorrey, Alpharetta, GA   PS: Became a new Jack Johnson fan as well --- good sound system !

We very much enjoyed our stay here on the wet side of the island.  We took 2 days to explore the park and relaxed at "home".  The house has beautiful details and a very harmonious atmosphere.  We played games, read a lot and visited the local quilt shop.  That shop with all the beautiful colors really made me happy.  I will be thinking of this place when we are back on our Russian Island.  Thank you for having us over!  Luuke, Hanneke, Julie and Steven , Sakhalin Island, Russia

We live in a very crowded suburban area in New Jersey, just outside NYC, so staying here was an amazing change for us!  It was very restful & Peaceful and the surrounding Fauna is fantastic!  We were able to visit the Volcano Park over and over again --- the contrast between the stark lava fields and the rain forest is amazing.  The house here is so beautifully constructed, and we loved the oriental details.  We would definitely recommend this place and this area to anyone visiting the Hawaiian Island.  Kelly, Frank & Francesca Caroline, Denville, NJ

Lovely surprise upon our arrival to discover this cute and romantic cottage!!  We will recommend to our friends to use this as a base for exploring this area.  We enjoyed Volcano, thermal hot spring on the coast, waterfalls in Hilo and our return here.  It was nice to make a fire and enjoy a nice bottle of Merlot.  Hope you enjoy as much as we did!! What a phenomenally beautiful place.
