The lush tropical forest surrounds this house. The rainforest is filled wit Hapu'u Tree Ferns and Ohia Trees that have bright red blossoms most of the year. The blossoms are called "Lehua Blossoms".

Extra tall windows and doors give this house a majestic feel.

The large oversize porch in the back of the house opens up to your own private Volcano Rainforest. Just one step from the porch and you are part of a very magical setting found nowhere else in the United States.

Cook your own private meal in the well equipped kitchen. Electric Stove, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, and all the pots and pans and cooking utensils you might need.

Complimentary:	For stays or 2 nights ore more we will be happy to provide you with some complimentary breakfast fixings ( our gift to you). Breakfast fixings may include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pancake mix, syrup, bread / bagels, butter / jam, juice, fresh fruit. ( exact items may vary depending on local availability). There are always fresh tropical flowers in the house for your enjoyment and lots of firewood for the fireplace.
Deposit / Payment:	Credit card # to guarantee reservation, or one night deposit check. Payment is due upon arrival. We prefer payment by check upon arrival, but you can also pay by Credit Card ( Visa, MC, Amex ), traveler's check, or cash
Cleaning Fee:	NONE
Cancellation Policy:	14 days * No Charge / full refund of deposit if cancelled at least two weeks prior to arrival. If cancelled less than two weeks in advance full payment is due for any days we can not re-book to someone else.. Reservations for 4 days or more have a 30 day cancellation period.
Smoking / Pets:	The Orchid Chalet is a non-smoking vacation home. No pets are allowed.

A couple of minutes drive from the entrance to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to explore the active Volcano and see hot lava.
