Kilauea Military Camp
(KMC) is located right in the
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The camp has cabins for rent, a cafeteria, a bowling
alley, a recreation center, a general store, a gas station, a fire station and the
"Lava Lounge" Bar to hang out at after a long day of hiking or driving around.
At KMC active or retired military personnel can rent
these cabins. # 72 has even a Jacuzzi tub! Each
unit has also a fire place for those cold nights that we have sometimes, and
beautiful stained glass windows.
