Our "Aloha Accent™" line of one-of-a-kind amazing Curly Koa Wood Jewelry is made in our Artist Studio right in Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii.

All the Koa Wood used for these amazing pieces are from deadfall trees that have fallen more than 20 years ago.  We kept the most special wood in our own "private reserve" awaiting to be used for only the most unique creations, such as these one-of-a-kind Koa Wood Shield Amulets.  No live Koa was ever cut for the jewelry we create.

The beautiful Curly Koa Wood used for our gorgeous necklaces and pendants has been in our special "reserve stash" for the last 25 years.  Originally utilized for only the finest guitar and Ukulele faces, we were lucky back  then to get our hands on this incredible material which comes from very old large trees. Only wood from deadfall trees was used, so no live trees were ever cut for our creations.  As the supply of old deadfall Koa trees has been diminished and old growth Koa is highly prized, we are proud to be able to share these special pieces with you at this time.

Each unique piece of jewelry is a special keepsake from Hawaii and we hope it will bring you many years of joy and Aloha from the islands.  Perhaps a reminder of your wedding, honeymoon, or vacation in Hawaii, or perhaps you just like Koa Wood.  Either way, this is a truly unique gift from a unique place!

Our Koa Wood Shield Collection™ was inspired by the natural gem materials we work with when creating Fine Silver and Gold Jewelry, such as Lapis, Quartz, and Malachite.

Lapis
is believed to provide protection and shield the wearer from negative influences, and is said to activate a life of more intelligence, success, and an  unshakable inner balance and power.  The deep cobalt blue of the TrueStone® lapis utilized in our amulets has a beautiful royal presence and is a perfect representation of the beauty of royal blue lapis.

Quartz
is a stone of clarity which dispels negativity and clears away negative energy. Quartz enhances spiritual growth, spirituality and wisdom. The TrueStone® Gold 'n Quartz used for our one-of-a-kind amulets is stunning and eye catching. 

Malachite
is said to be grounding and calming. The TrueStone® Malachite incorporated into our Shield Collection has a deep green color that compliments the natural Koa Wood perfectly.
