 About Puako - Hawaii:

Puako is located on the West Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. At the Puako Petroglyph Archeological Preserve along the Kohala Coast ( Waikoloa) you can find more than 3,000 kii pohaku (petroglyphs). It is generally thought that these carvings are records of births and other significant events in the lives of people who lived on the island of Hawaii long ago. This special plaque, depicting the carving of petroglyph in the lava rock is a perfect gift for any petroglyph enthusiast or anyone that has visited the Waikoloa / Kohala Coast or the Big Island of Hawaii itself.
