For both scatterings it was a beautiful morning out on the ocean.

The cremains where set up on the back of our 20' Bayliner boat being surrounded by tropical orchids, andthuriums, and ti leafs, as to honor this special moment and the beautiful surrounding...

We started early in the morning from Hilo Harbor. The sun was just starting to peak out after a brief light shower. The tropical air was clean and fresh, a nice morning to go out on the ocean.

The cremains were set up on the back side of the boat while we were taking a leisure boat ride to the place where the ash scattering was to be performed.

The ashes where scattered into the blue ocean accompanied by the tropical flowers. From this spot in the ocean one can see the beautiful Mauna Kea Mountain and the plume of the Volcano on a clear day. In wintertime Mauna Kea can be snowcapped, which is very beautiful.
