This unique ornament beautifully represents Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with images of the Hawaiian Nene, Kilauea Volcano, Silversword, Hapuu Fern, Ohia Lehua all surrounded by a Maile Lei.
The original artwork of this image was created by Dietrich Varez, one of the most beloved artists in Hawaii known for his block prints throughout the islands. This ornament is a collaboration with Dietrich's amazing artwork and my artistic design talents. I craft each ornament, one at a time in my studio in Volcano, Hawaii. Dietrich always loved to see every new creation I designed with his artwork. and I am proud to honor his legacy by continuing to design and create beautiful Koa Wood Gifts with his images.
