Large 925 Sterling Silver & Koa Wood "Good Luck Turtle" Pendant - Handmade in Volcano, Hawaii
The Honu ( Sea Turtle) is a symbol of GOOD LUCK in Hawaii and always a welcome perfect gift. Koa Wood is also a Symbol of Strength and courage, and the word Koa means warrior.
Description
This is a large handmade Honu Pendant made from 925 Sterling Silver and featuring a solid Koa Wood Cabochon. I make each pendant one at at time, and no two are exactly alike. Truly a one-of-a-kind creation. The back of the Honu features my jewelers mark ( A) , the 925 Sterling mark, my traditional Hawaiian Petroglyph Rainbow Man and the Japanese Symbol for "Peace" to support the goal of world peace and getting along.
Size: The Honu is 1.5" long ( head to tail ) and 1 1/4" wide, fin to fin, a very nice larger size that will get attention and looks wonderful on anyone. The hand-shaped Koa Wood Cabochon is 18mm long and 13mm wide.
Alternate Center Stone: If you would prefer a genuine gemstone in the center of the Turtle ( IE: Turquoise, Malachite, or ? ) instead of the Koa Wood Cabochon, I will be happy to create a custom piece for you. Just let me know what you like and I will give you a quote.
